So I've been M.I.A. for a few days...

I haven't been around for a few days.....hmmm. I've been busy....seems like Nev and I haven't gotten home at a decent time at all. As I say I've been busy, I honestly can't say at WHAT!!!!!!
Don't you just hate that?
Anyway, I took Nevan to meet my dad on Friday afternoon. He is spending the w/e with him and my mom. I have to go pick him up today and he is NOT too happy at all about it either. He doesn't want to come home.....BUT who could blame him? If I had CONSTANT playmates and got EVERYTHING I asked for, I wouldn't want to either!!! He's no dummy!!!! lol
So.....yesterday (Saturday for those of you not in USA) I went riding with my "friend" Chris...on his motorcycle. We rode from 10am - 7pm..........OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH!!! I'm sore!!!!
Very much so....... but it was well worth it. So relaxing....we rode more than 340 miles. YIKES!!! Lost my ball cap in the wind and I have a nice sunburn on my face...and lips. OUCH........worth it though.
It was an absolutely gorgeous day....and today is just as beautiful...only warmer. But of course, it is going to rain all week long. Go figure!!!!!!!!!! Hmmmppphhh...

I don't think I ever learn.....

So how many of you have gone out with friends to a club or wherever on a w/e night, had too much to drink, and live to regret it the next day? Oh wow, that's exactly what I did Friday night. LOL!!!!!!!! Oh was I EVER hating life Saturday....all day Saturday, no less. Into the night, Saturday. Eeeeek!!!
Virus, my dear...I do know you understand what I am talking about. hehehehe
So....the most important thing is that I DID survive....scary thing is I don't remember everything and apparently I was rather rowdy. I know I must have danced my butt off b/c my legs are STILL killing me. I must've used muscles that haven't been used ever in my life!!!! :o)
I guess I accomplished exactly what I set out to do.....have fun and tie one on.....think I did it a little TOO well. lol
Having the ex in town for a week was just a bit more than I could handle.
He is gone now, left this morning..........to Korea. For a year. Life can get back to normal now...whatever that is.

OH HOLY BEJEEZERS!!!!

So is anyone else like me? SUPERSTITIOUS???? It's Friday the 13th....and I'm hoping this day passes with ease. I've made through more than half the day w/o much drama.
Maybe you aren't spooked like me....maybe my luck on any other Friday the 13th has been mere coincidence.....I'm still crossing my fingers.

OK....so here goes...............

So I'm new at this....stick with me, please. Please? I figured....what the hell, I'll give this a try. To start out....it's been a helluva year to say the very least. Husband walked out on us last year in March, got divorced in June. He left for another state...to say the least...Hawaii!!!! Came back....re-enlisted in the military. Left again.....now he's shipping out for Korea for a year.
As far as I'm concerned? Oh, good riddance. But for my son (6), Nevan, it's a different story. My ex is what I like to refer to as a SERIAL CHEATER....lol. Sorry. But he is what he is.
Anyway, life has moved on since him....thank God. And each day (esp. when he's around) I question myself....WHAT IN THE HELL WAS I THINKING??????!!!!!?????
BUT then again, I'm sure just about everyone who is divorced probably thinks the same thing.

OK.....so here I am....I've never done this blog thing.

If you look at my pic at the bottom of the page you may think "who's that little girl?" Well, that's me....and I'm actually 35 years old. And the handsome little guy hugging my neck is Nevan.
